Este excepcional documento material permite analizar la configuración del espacio funerario y la construcción de la memoria a través de la vinculación de la sociedad de los vivos con sus ancestros.SUMMARYThe present book is an exhaustive analysis of a particular sector of the necropolis located at the Iberian city of Alon and the later Roman Allone (La Vila Joiosa, Alacant). Rituals and funerary practices are studied through 108 tombs and 9 deposits covering more than a thousand years of the ancient history of the region. This exceptional material document allows us to analyse the configuration of the funerary space and the construction of memory through the link between the society of the living and their ancestors.
