As was her wont, she'd asked for only the barest outline of the case: an old country mansion being converted into a hotel...something that shouldn't be there...something that was then causing problems and more than problems to the workforce. It sounded straightforward enough, sounded like the standard scenario of an earthbound spirit re-enacting some meaningful ritual.
