Sie stellen aktuelle empirische Befunde zur Kommunikation im Bereich der Psychotherapie, des Coaching, der Pflegekommunikation und der Kommunikation in der universitären Lehre vor. Dabei diskutieren sie neue Forschungsfelder (wie die Robotik) und bislang wenig bearbeitete Aspekte (wie den institutionellen Raum) ebenso wie zentrale theoretische und methodische Probleme und Herausforderungen der Institutions-/Organisationslinguistik und die Notwendigkeit der sprachwissenschaftlichen Institutionenkritik.

Florian Menz (1960–2017) was a leading scholar in the field of professional/organizational communication. This volume collects contributions by other leading scholars in the field in memory of his research achievements. The volume presents current empirical results of research on communication in the fields of psychotherapy, coaching, care communication and communication in academic teaching. The chapters furthermore discuss new research fields (such as robotics), so far scarcely explored phenomena (such as the institutional space), central theoretical and methodical problems and challenges of institutional/organizational linguistics as well as the necessity of a critical institutional/organizational linguistics.
