Darlene A. Harris was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, the eldest of four girls. She is the mother of two sons. She loves writing, traveling, gourmet foods, shopping, watching westerns, fashion designing, home decorating, but most of all helping hurting people. She has Civil Rights activists in her family, and believes that God is the only way to true freedom. After her life went into a downward spiral, she felt "a touch" from God. Now she wants to inspire/encourage others like her to let God take away their pain, misery, and loss of self-worth.
