Dutch author ILSE SPALL (1981) is a self-proclaimed film freak who draws inspiration from the several movies she sees in cinemas across the country every week. She experienced the craziest things in her many years of working at a local cinema. Spall loves writing romances, and in 2009, she won the national chick-lit writing contest with her debut novel, HOLLYWOOD. Since then, she has established herself as one of the Netherlands major chick-lit authors. Ilse Spall is married and lives in Nieuwegein.
