Upon opening the door Kevin said, "Mr. King?"

"Good to meet you at last, Kevin," said the middle-aged man outside the door.

"Come in. You and…your guest." Kevin ushered them inside the room with an expansive sweep of his arm. He felt a bit like a flesh-peddler, selling his wife for another's pleasure and he liked the feeling.

"Oh. Excuse me," said Mr. King. "This is Miss Thalia, my companion." Thalia just nodded. Her dress was formal, as was her expression and hair. Everything about her said business. While she was very pretty nothing about her said sexual availability. Obviously the woman with the severe expression was there for some other purpose.

"Hello." Kevin extended his hand. Thalia shook it as if completing the gesture was a requirement of her job.

Thalia said nothing in reply and only nodded. Her eyes went to Jenn who was standing on the other side of the room. Mr. King's eyes followed hers. "Ah. The lady of the evening," he said, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. He would have laughed at his own joke but knew from experience that doing so often upset the women he was to have sex with.

Jenn barely heard his words. She was pleased with his appearance after only seeing him at a distance for the reception. Middle-aged, but not showing much of his age, black hair just starting to gray at the temples, and tall enough to be impressive, but not intimidating. Already prepared for what was about to happen, Jenn made the quick decision that sex with Mr. King wasn't going to be a difficult prospect at all.

"How do you want me?" she heard herself blurting out.

Mr. King laughed slightly. "So forward. I like that. But you aren't the first problem," he said as his eyes flicked back to Kevin. "The problem is your husband."
