Grand Lyon, architectures contemporaines est un plan guide, qui permet de lire dans l'agglomération lyonnaise l'évolution architecturale contemporaine sur plus d'un siècle, de 1906 à 2011. Son objet est de souligner la puissance créatrice du XX^e siècle. C'est un guide pour l'amateur, un outil pour le chercheur. Chacun peut composer son propre parcours en fonction de la chronologie, du concepteur, du territoire, etc. Il rassemble 241 références réparties en 216 fiches illustrées et commentées. 58 d'entre elles sont traduites en anglais, afin d'offrir un parcours resserré à l'étranger venu quelques jours dans le Grand Lyon.

Grand Lyon, Contemporary Architecture charts the evolution of contemporary architecture in the Lyons area from 1906 to 2011, with the aim of highlighting the great creative vigour of the twentieth century. It is intended both as a guide for amateurs and as a tool for researchers, and allows each individual to plan his or own route based on one's interests in terms of periods, designers or districts. It contains details of 241 places of interest spread over 216 entries. 58 of these entries have been translated into English, in order to provide a shorter route that can be enjoyed by foreign visitors spending a few days in Greater Lyons.
