Mais cette grammaire est surtout destinée à expliquer les formes du dialecte limousin moderne elle est faite, pour ainsi dire, en fonction de ce dia lecre. Ce n'en est pas moins le travail le plus impor tant et le plus original qui ait paru en France sur la grammaire de l'ancien provençal.
