Gluskabe comes back home after a long journey just to be told by his grandmother that the Penobscot River had dried out and that his people needed his help. Gluskabe takes his canoe back in the water and departs for a new adventure to find out what was going on. He is troubled by the news and worries for his people.
This Abenaki legend is thousands of years old. Nevertheless, it is very relevant to our world of today where greed is winning over morality and decency.
