L'artiste japonaise Fujiko Nakaya est la pionnière d'un art peu commun et fascinant : la sculpture de brouillard. Cette première monographie exhaustive présente ses oeuvres de brouillard créées pour des espaces publics dans le monde entier - y compris la sculpture de brouillard pour le Pavillon Pepsi à Osaka Expo en 1970, aussi bien que ses oeuvres vidéo et ses peintures. Autant de documents pour apprécier cette approche artistique singulière de la nature où se conjuguent l'art, la science et la technologie.

Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya is the pioneer of an unusual and fascinating art : Fog Sculpture. This first comprehensive monograph presents Fog Works she has created for public spaces all over the world, including the Fog Sculpture for the Pepsi Pavilion at Expo 70, Osaka, as well as her video works and paintings. The publication includes an annotated catalogue, a DVD-Video featuring selected fog sculptures as well as two rarely seen videos by Nakaya, and an interactive DVD-ROM containing a vast database of her work. This collection documents a singular approach to nature, placing it in dialogue with art, science and technology.
