I went out to celebrate my new job with John, Maggie, and Sophie – three friends I've known since forever. We were all in our early twenties and all doing well in life. I was the last to make a success of myself, though.

Out of the three, Sophie was my best friend. Blonde and curvy, with bright blue eyes and a pretty heart-shaped face, she was seriously hot stuff.
