English summary: Judith Revel explores the implications of Michel Foucault's shift from the analysis of power to one of ethics towards the end of his career. She is thus able to present Foucault's thought as a political question of the present, rather than a historical work on systems of thought, offering a new reading of French philosophy in the second half of the twentieth century. Cette question conduit Judith Revel a examiner la maniere dont la reflexion foucaldienne aborde la question politique du present, l'inscrit dans ce qui etait jusqu'alors un travail sur l'historicite des systemes de pensee, et tente d'elaborer une perspective qui tisse ensemble la genealogie des determinations qui nous traversent et l'experimentation d'une difference possible. L'ontologie politique, historique et immanente de Foucault pourrait alors etre comprise dans le sillage inattendu des travaux de Maurice Merleau-Ponty sur la reouverture permanente de l'histoire a ce qui la deborde: une ressemblance de famille qui autorise des lors une lecture absolument inedite du paysage de la philosophie francaise apres 1945.
