Fluorosis does not only affect oral cavity but has more severe and generalized effect on the body resulting in hard tissue and soft tissue irreversible damage in form of dental fluorosis, increased chances of caries and periodontal diseases, skeletal and non-skeletal fluorosis and acute toxicity which is lethal.
