The Book
In force since 1 May 2021, the Trade and Cooperation Agreement is the central legal text governing post-Brexit relations between the UK and the EU. In essence, it is an ambitious "free trade plus" agreement that regulates economic issues, but also addresses a wealth of non-trade aspects.
