Ethnomedicinal studies was carried on union council Salim Khan of Swabi district located on north side of district and the gate way to district Buner. This tropical zone is situated on height of 1138 ft from sea level and on 340 07 51.28 N0 and 720 27 34.32 E0. The study area was not rich in vegetation however the locals used the common available plants as remedies for various diseases. The current survey reported 75 plants species of 43 families medicinally important. In those, 31 were wholly wild species, 15 were wild and also cultivated and 29 were only cultivated. The locals used the plants by their own way some plants were the first add box for the farmers as used astringents and antipyretic also used for other diseases like acne vulgare, irritation, diarrhea, dysantary, constipation, mylagia, crack and fracture, amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea and used for sexual disesses as well. Some are also important for veterinary like Withania somnifera, Cannabis sativa and Grewia optiva use for animal. Main dilemma to the plants was that those were ignored by government and new generation. The result was arranged alphabetically family wise along with their uses and recipes.
