Today, in the age of electronics, the Internet, and robots, we are faced with a different side of human development: environmental degradation, pollution, destruction, and harm. Environmental issues and natural disasters known as environmental crime have rocketed to the top of the scale of security problems and survival issues of modern society. Despite the fast worldwide development of green criminology and environmental crime studies in the last decades, their development in the region of South-Eastern Europe has only just started.
