Filmmaker and novelist Elio Quiroga, winner of the Minotauro Award among others, creates an addictive psychological thriller with characters who are full of secrets unknown even to themselves.

Sonia and Juan are two newlywed physicists who go to the modern telescope facilities at Roque de los Muchachos, on the Canary Island of La Palma, to carry out an important investigation.

Soon Sonia finds herself in an unsettling situation when her husband starts talking in his sleep with a voice completely different from his own. As the days pass, that personality, who calls himself Robert, takes over Juan, and Sonia starts to feel attracted to him.

Isolated in a faraway place, with no internet connection or any possibilities of using the cell phone, Sonia and Juan (and Robert) will enter an increasingly crazed and dangerous twist.
