One day when Leo's history teacher gives him an assignment on Alejandro Magno, Leo, who hates to read, visits the library to begin his research. A Leo, como a muchos chicos de su edad, no le gusta leer y prefiere los juegos de ordenador. Pero un dia cuando su profesor de historia le encarga un trabajo sobre Alejandro Magno, Leo, en compania de sus amigos Rita y Abram, tiene que ir a la biblioteca a buscar informacion. Leo inicia su lectura y, para mayor sorpresa, el joven protagonista del libro reclama su ayuda para seguir la pista de un antiguo sepulcro gotico. El libro lleva a los jovenes protagonistas a viajar a Constantinopla, Escocia, Grecia, Capadocia y la antigua Persia, donde desentranan el misterio que se desvela con la lectura del libro azul.
