Nous nous intéressons dans ce volume à la dynamique des difféomorphismes des surfaces préservant une forme d'aire. La dimension deux offre des outils mathématiques qui lui sont propres. Le but de ces textes est donc de présenter à travers des approches différentes, diverses méthodes d'étude et d'en donner des applications. En particulier, nous cherchons à montrer comment se rencontrent les points de vue de la théorie géométrique des systèmes dynamiques, de la théorie des groupes, de l'hydrodynamique et de la topologie plane.
This volume deals with the dynamics of area-preserving surface diffeomorphisms. In dimension 2 some specific mathematical tools are available. Along these texts, we present several approaches and some applications. In particular, we try to show how the geometrical theory of dynamical systems, the group theory, the hydrodynamics and the plane topology interfere.
