À vingt ans, Jean du Boisberranger sillonne l'Asie et s'émerveille : savourer la beauté du monde sera sa devise, la communiquer son métier. Voyageur esthète, il est envoyé pendant des années d'un pays à l'autre à la recherche de clichés exceptionnels, riches en couleurs. La photographie est un merveilleux moyen d'aller à la rencontre des choses et des êtres : de la Papouasie au Guatemala, de l'Éthiopie à la Polynésie, il dessine une fresque d'images lumineuses. Puis, un jour, Jean du Boisberranger interrompt cette course incessante pour s'enraciner dans une maison cévenole et partager la richesse de son expérience acquise aux quatre coins du monde.
At the age of twenty, Jean du Boisberranger wandered around Asia and he was enraptured. From thereon, he made it his mission to savour the splendour of the world, and his job to reveal it. A traveller with an eye for beauty, he roamed the world for several years in search of exceptional, colour-soaked pictures. Photography is a marvellous means to discover places and people : from Papua to Guatemala, from Ethiopia to Polynesia, he painted a fresco of luminous pictures. And then, one day, Jean du Boisberranger put an end to his incessant travels and settled down in the Cevennes, to share the wealth of experience he has gleaned ail around the globe.
