In the world of Avenir, dragons once thrived in powerful, divided clans — fire-dragons, ice-dragons, and golden dragons — each bound by ancient loyalties and fierce rivalries. When the vital green salt that sustains their existence begins to vanish, Mika, a fire-dragon caught between duty and rivalry, must join forces with his old rival Rayn to embark on a desperate quest.

As their journey unfolds, the dragon clans are weakened, and only a handful remain who remember the old magic. Mika, Tila, and the few loyal companions who survive must track down a mysterious memory charm — the key to restoring their lost forms and uniting their scattered kin. But powerful forces, including the cunning golden dragon Slade, guard the charm, and convincing him proves nearly impossible.

With the homeland threatened and time running out, the dragons face a painful choice: cling to their dragon heritage, or risk their future by transforming into human form.
