God can. God will. God does. Collette Davis, affectionately known as Dawn, knew the reality of God in her life. A woman of faith, she lived life in continual praise to her Lord, despite her circumstances. She had a passion for prayer and prayed earnestly for others. As she battled breast cancer, Dawn worked fervently and prayerfully each day to write and record Devotions by Dawn. Her book, Devotions by Dawn, is a compilation of her daily devotionals designed for audio. Her thoughts and insights about God's work in our daily lives will truly motivate you. In producing a daily devotion available for itunes, Youtube, mp3 players, etc., Dawn wanted to usher her listeners into the world of worship while going about their daily routines. Although all of the audio recordings were not complete when she died as a result of metastatic breast cancer, all of the transcripts were written and prepared for recording. Before Dawn passed she requested to her family and they promised her, that Devotions by Dawn would be published. The original recordings in the voice of Dawn, can be found on www.devotionsbydawn.com Since it was originally intended for audio, each reading may take longer than a day to finish. That's fine. Take your time, read each day, and reflect on God's love. Dawn woke up each morning and said, 'I'm Alive, thank you Lord for another day." Her book will inspire you to do the same. She spent personal time with her heavenly Father every day, and you'll be challenged to as well. We pray by doing so, your relationship with Christ will grow. As you read each day's devotional, your spirit will come alive to God's ways and His work.
