Mainly o-anisidine is used for production of dyes and help in different process. o-anisidine use for manufacturation of azo pigments. Also used in printing inks that helpful in packing materials like aluminum foil, paper articles (books), cardboard, and polymer. 83 % was processed to yellow azo pigments. 14 % of o-anisidine which have decreasing property, processed to textiles dyes (10 % o-anisidine), leather (0.1 % oanisidine) and paper (3 % o-anisidine). o-anisidine is used in pharmaceuticals production and also for steel corrosion inhibitor and as antioxidant for resins. industrial use of o-anisidine is as intermediate under controlled conditions. Pigments that are used in tattoo formation also have azo dyes (o-anisidine). Commonly used pigment for tattooing is yellow. Solvent red pigment is used as hair colorant.
