Photographe de renommée internationale, Mario Colonel est associé de l'agence américaine Aurora après avoir été membre des éditions Pêcheurs d'Images, aux côtés de Yann Arthus-Bertrand et Philip Plisson. Passionné de montagne et alpiniste chevronné, Mario Colonel vit dans les Alpes. Il parcourt la planète entière mais concentre son oeuvre sur les massifs du Mont-Blanc et de l'Himalaya. Séduit par les Cévennes, il prolonge son travail dans cet univers magique.

A photographer of international fame, Mario Colonel has become a partner of Aurora, the American pictures agency. He previously belonged to Pêcheurs d'Images, along with Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Philip Plisson. An inveterate mountain fiend and a remarkable climber, Mario Colonel lives in the French Alps. He travels all around the world but his work concentrates on the Mont-Blanc and the Himalaya ranges. Charmed by the Cevennes, he widened his scope to include this region, which neatly matches the spirit of his photographs - reflecting nature.
