Guidelines for Fire Extinguishing Systems Planning and Installation
These Guidelines give the requirements for planning, installation, and maintenance of stationary fire extinguishing systems using non-liquefied inert gas (in the following called extinguishing system) when used for the protection of buildings, industrial manufacturing plants, and for the extension or modification of existing installations.
They include not only requirements for the extinguishing system itself and associated components, but also requirements for buildings and objects to be protected.
They have been developed by prevention bodies, under the initiative of the insurers or their representatives grouped at European level in the Insurance Europe Prevention Forum.
