This little book of poetry means a lot to me and thank you for taking the time to share it. I hope you may find something in here which you can connect to, knowing women as I do; I think that is likely. This is not just exclusive to women, if you are a man in search of that womanly essence, either in that part of yourself or to share of your loved ones; past or present then I hope the same applies. For those of you who have often struggled to survive those past traumas and pray they stay away then you may find something in here you can relate to. You may hear a southern lilt among the words and for that I make no apology, it is my brave Virginian roots coming out after lying fallow for some time. I believe we all have a unique story but can find a common theme. It is a journey with many forks, all challenging and sprinkled with joy and sadness but perhaps none as prominent as the one that comes at mid life, if we are fortunate enough to reach it. It seems to be at this point that we have the time to reflect on what's gone on before, take stock and either fall off the cliff or find the courage to keep climbing toward that summit. I would like to consider that I chose the latter, I hope you do too; we are in the best company. Yours Candy Bright
