Some people find Christianity too complicated, too deep, and too difficult to understand. If that's you, then Bottom Shelf is exactly what you need! Bottom Shelf is a weekly devotional guide that takes real-life stories and struggles and filters them through Scripture for everyday application. In the busy pace of many people's lives, trying to keep up with a daily devotional in addition to reading Scripture, praying, and journaling can be daunting to say the least. If you miss a few days, let's face it, it's hard to catch up! Bottom Shelf is written with today's busy lifestyles in mind. By reading two short chapters a week that are filled with rich, yet accessible, everyday lessons, you can take more time to "digest what you ingest," and not feel rushed to move on to the next chapter. Bottom Shelf comes from a phrase made popular by Dr. Howard Hendricks who believed that truth should be available to everyone, regardless of background, education, or status. Everyday lessons should be kept on the bottom shelf, so they are within everyone's reach.
