Sam Granger returns again, now as a Contact-Operative Team Leader (COLT) with old and new friends for more tales from his exploints along the ghost trail on behalf of Blackwell Ops, an interational network of professional assassins.

Orphaned at the age of 2, Sam's a good guy. His personality is a unique combination. He's a loner who's perfectly fine in his own company, but he also knows compassion.

Sam is no longer the only long-range sniper in the company. Four more snipers came on board in Blackwell Ops 44. One of those is well-experienced. Under Sam's tutelage, one is slightly experienced. The other two are as yet untested.

Of course, he also has weapons experts of every discipline at his disposal, from martial artists to pistol, knife, and close combat experts.

Sam's boss, TJ Blackwell, employs him and his team only for particular, very special operations, but those operations have increased from one every few months to much more often.

Sam's life is well balanced. When he isn't on the road or in the air on an operation, he's spending quality time with his fiancée, the lovely Aspen Delaney.
