Cet ouvrage décrit une rencontre fascinante entre l’architecture et la musique, entre l’espace et le temps. À l’occasion d’une soirée expérimentale à Bozar, à Bruxelles, le chef d’orchestre Gábor Káli et l’Orchestre symphonique de Flandre ont interprété Musique pour cordes, percussion et célesta de Béla Bartók, tandis que le bureau Robbrecht en Daem architecten transposait l’oeuvre en architecture. Ce dialogue entre ces deux disciplines est illustré ici par de nombreux dessins, calculs, images et notes.
