English summary: Around thirty proverbs from the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead are not part of the major new revision of the Book of the Dead, the so-called "Saitic Recension" generated during the transition from the 25th to the 26th Dynasty. Some of these texts appear only very late as part of a corpus that had not been rigidly defined originally, including chapter 191, which was recorded in the Book of the Dead no earlier than the 30th Dynasty. Two deities, the "Ba-Bringer" (bringer of Ba) and the "Schattenabschneider" (shadow cutter) are invoked in this chapter, responsible for uniting the various components of the deceased, thus ensuring his continued existence in the afterlife. Evidence of chapter 191 can be found in other contexts and in various other texts, distinguishable from other papyri by their small and short formats. Volume 13 of the Studies on the Book of the Dead analyzes the chapter on the basis of a synopsis of about twenty papyri containing a selection of proverbs on the dead and other sayings that are not part of the Book of the Dead. Comparing the text with sources such as these which are not included in the Book of the Dead allows for a closer examination of the figures of the "Ba-Bringer" (bringer of Ba) and the "Schattenabschneider" (shadow cutter). This approach is an important contribution to a better understanding of some aspects of the later funeral theology of Egypt. German description: Etwa dreissig Spruche des altagyptischen Totenbuchs zahlen nicht zu der grundlegenden Neuredaktion des Totenbuchs, der sogenannten "Saitischen Rezension", die in der Umbruchphase zwischen der 25. und 26. Dynastie stattfand. Einige dieser Texte erscheinen erst sehr spat in dem ursprunglich keineswegs starr festgelegten Korpus, so zum Beispiel Tb 191, das im Totenbuch fruhestens ab der 30. Dynastie belegt ist. In diesem Kapitel werden zwei Gottheiten, der Ba-Bringer und der Schattenabschneider, angerufen, die dafur zustandig sind, die verschiedenen Bestandteile des Verstorbenen zu vereinigen und so sein Fortleben im Jenseits zu sichern. Tb 191 lasst sich auch in anderen Kontexten und auf unterschiedlichen Texttragern nachweisen, die sich durch ihr kleines und kurzes Format von anderen Papyri absetzen. In Band 13 der Studien zum altagyptischen Totenbuch wird der Spruch auf der Grundlage einer Synopse von etwa zwanzig Papyri untersucht, die eine Auswahl von Totenbuchspruchen oder anderem Spruchgut enthalten, das nicht zum Totenbuch gehort. Der Vergleich mit diesen nicht im Totenbuch enthaltenen Quellen ermoglicht die nahere Identifizierung der Wesenheiten des Ba-Bringers und des Schattenabschneiders und leistet damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zum besseren Verstandnis einiger Aspekte der spaten funeraren Theologie Agyptens.
