L'oeuvre de Danielle Justes témoigne d'un talent tout à fait exceptionnel. En France, elle est l'auteur de réalisations uniques, telles les mosaïques conçues pour la place de la Cathédrale, la résidence des Thermes construite par Jean Nouvel, ou encore le jardin du Sarrat, à Dax.

Bordeaux, avec l'aménagement du cours Victor-Hugo et le fameux pavement réalisé sous la Grosse Cloche (XV^e siècle), Blanquefort et les jardins de Majolan (inventés, sous la forme d'une « folie » fabuleuse, au XIX^e siècle), sont d'autres exemples de l'acuité avec laquelle l'artiste sait allier un savoir-faire sans équivalent avec la prise en compte de l'espace public, qu'il soit urbain ou naturel.

C'est cette faculté qu'a Danielle Justes d'adapter son regard, et sa main, à toutes les échelles du projet, qui rend sa démarche si contemporaine, et si précieuse.

Danielle Justes is an artist of exceptional talent. In France, her work includes a number of unique creations-mosaics in Dax at the Place de la Cathédrale, Résidence des Thermes (designed by Jean Nouvel) and Parc du Sarrat, in Bordeaux for the recently redeveloped Cours Victor Hugo, including her celebrated paving design beneath the 15^th century Grosse Cloche, and in Blanquefort at the Jardins de Majolan, a fanciful 19^th century folly. Her work is an eloquent expression of a fine ability to marry unparalleled technical expertise with a perceptive grasp of public spaces, be they urban or natural. With consummate talent, Danielle Justes turns her artist's eye and craftswoman's hand to the multiple dimensions of each project entrusted to her.
