Introduction
I decided to write this book in response to the significant geopolitical events unfolding in our world today. What are these events to which I refer?
From a military perspective, Russia maintains the world's largest nuclear weapons stockpile. China has advanced its military capabilities to such an extent that it can now match, and in some cases, surpass certain aspects of U.S. military strength.
A paradigm shift is occurring in the geopolitical landscape. Russia and China have developed increasingly close economic and military cooperation. The emerging economic bloc known as BRICS, consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, represents this shift. Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, and numerous other nations are expressing interest in joining or seriously considering BRICS membership as early as 2023. This development threatens to divide the world into a bipolar system of competing military alliances and trade relationships.
These demographic and geopolitical alignments may play a crucial role in the final battle of Armageddon, given the vast army that biblical prophecy suggests will assemble against Israel.
Israel serves as the common denominator in what scripture describes as this catastrophic final war. Currently, Israel has remained largely neutral in the sanctions campaign against Russia. I believe this stems from the fact that many Jews who returned to Israel emigrated from the former Soviet Union, and Israel wishes to preserve its relationship with Russia.
Turkey also plays a pivotal role in end-times prophecy, as it appears positioned to align with Russia. Turkey and Russia share a long history and maintain strong economic partnerships. Russia supplies Turkey with energy, wheat, fertilizers, and weapons. While Turkey remains a NATO member, I believe Turkey will ultimately side with Russia in the approaching Armageddon conflict.
In conclusion, my motivation for writing this book stems from current world events. While circumstances may evolve, what appears certain is the establishment of two distinct world orders. Who will prevail in the medium to long term remains unknown and speculative. However, the friction is undeniable, and this tension will likely deepen resentment between NATO and BRICS nations. Never in my lifetime have I witnessed such extensive rhetoric from the United States regarding the threat of nuclear war. I can only assume this serves as an attempt to intimidate Russia. I will explore this topic further in subsequent chapters.
There is an old question people frequently ask: "Will nuclear war ever happen?" The reality is that nuclear weapons have already been used in warfare with the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II.
Today's nuclear weapons are hundreds of times more powerful than those early versions. As we have recently witnessed, Russia leads the world in hypersonic nuclear weapon technology, while the United States has yet to fully develop comparable hypersonic capabilities. Therefore, I believe we are living in extremely dangerous times, where one miscalculation by any nuclear power could trigger a chain reaction of events rendering Earth uninhabitable.
The Bible provides explicit guidance about what will transpire during these end times and reveals the ultimate outcome. Throughout this book, I will reference prophecies exclusively from Old Testament prophets and New Testament prophets, including our Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray you will find this book as meaningful to read as it was for me to write.
