These problems can be avoided or minimized by using the natural material products such as medicinal plant extracts.The present studies indicated that Allium sativum extract was able to inhibit the growth of two bacteria (Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus) and two fungi (Aspergillus niger and Alternaria solani) studied.
