This book is a collection of sixty-two poems written throughout my life, beginning at age seven.
It is broken into nine sections by topic or style. They are Dogs, Food, Depression Expression, Spiritual Musings, Social Consciousness, Sonnets, Limericks, and A Little of This. A Little of That, and Poems I Didn't Write.
The poems express humor, depression, Christian faith, irony, joy, and love.
At the beginning of each section, I give a background of each poem and its inspiration. Some poems are lighthearted. Some are dark and brooding. Except for the last section, all the poems are my truth, whether in content or emotion.
The last section, Poems I Didn't Write, comes from my husband's (Ralph Walton's) poetic writings. He asked that they be included. To me, they show a similarity in our souls.
There is something for everyone.
