A Serio-Comic Romance and Forecast of the Future. First published in 1906 this is the only published work of Casparian, a Turkish Armenian who emigrated to America in 1877. Set in the future of 1960, the author's purpose was to show the desirability of a world government, the first step towards which he saw as an Anglo-American federation. The novel follows the romance of two young women, one of whom later has herself surgically transformed into a man.
