Oria and her friends survived the Swirling Desert and find themselves in a strange society called Legalis. It's far different from artistic Regalia. For in Legalis laws rule and the hourly Counts keep its populace under control. Conformity is required and individuality is forbidden among the Masses. There is no joy in Legalis, no creativity, no encouragement to go after your dreams-no encouragement to dream at all. Presiding over the Masses is the ominous Judge, whose looming presence intimidates, and whose barbaric punishments dampen all hope.

Yet hope is merely sleeping. For the Keeper is at work. He will not allow evil to win!
