Adriano Celentano is an Italian singer, composer, producer, comedian, actor, film director and TV host nicknamed 'Il Molleggiato"' (the flexible one) because of his dancing. What Johnny Hallyday is for the introduction of Rock and Roll in France, Celentano is credited for having introduced Rock and Roll to Italy. His first singles in 1958 were Little Richard’s 'Rip It Up/Jailhouse Rock' and Fats Domino’s 'Blueberry Hill/Tutti Frutti'. He appeared in about 40 films, sold over 150 million records and is considered one of the pillars of Italian music.
