De release van een nieuw volume van de DE PRE HISTORIE in september is ondertussen uit gegroeid tot een mooie traditie. De legendarische CDreeks
naar het gelijknamige Radio 2-programma van bezieler Guy De Pré beroert nog steeds de harten van elke recht geaarde muziekliefhebber. En
voor de aller eerste keer in de geschiedenis van de reeks zijn de Jaren 90 aan de beurt. Geloof het of niet maar die liggen ondertussen ook alweer
30 jaar achter ons.

Opnieuw een luxueuze geschenkbox met maar liefst 10 CD’s en een uitgebreid booklet met teksten en feiten die herinneringen uit elk jaar
oproepen. Guy De Pré stond zelf in voor de liner notes en selecteerde persoonlijk alle tracks op hun prehistorie gehalte.

Elk nummer heeft de tand des tijds moeiteloos doorstaan en katapulteert je onmiddellijk terug naaar het einde van vorige eeuw. Want wie
herinnert zich niet de megahits van o.m. MC Hammer, Suzanne Vega, Ace of Base, Paul Mc Cartney of Queen die een heel decennium muzikaal
gestalte hebben gegeven.
